Purple Suede, Purple SUEDE

THIS SKIRT feels like Priya personified. You already know how I feel about purple, you already know how I feel about velvet (though, I'll argue this skirt is really more of a suede); mix them both together and this is me, one hundo. 

When I saw this skirt at LOFT I had to bring it home with me immediately, where I proceeded to panic for weeks about exactly how to style it. I love the jewel tones/stripes combination in the stock photo, but I don't own anything quite like that. I fell back on my stand-by of quirky/classy and lots of colors. Red and purple is somewhat of an unusual color combo that I actually really love (and I've tried before.) 

Anyway, I would genuinely love to hear your thoughts on how you would style this skirt - I'll definitely revisit it, because I'm not sure if I exactly nailed it this time.

Weather in Nashville has been oscillating between sunny and bright and freezing wind with some snow flurries, which, I guess is the name of the game in the Spring! These photos were taken on an especially gorgeous day a few weeks ago. We could not believe it was February! 

Happy Friday friends! I am wrapping up a very busy week with a haircut, some Indian food, and seeing LP in concert (I'm a huge fan of hers- so excited!) Have the best weekend!!

P.S. Pro tip- if you have to "buy" a song on a jukebox, pick Purple Rain! Talk about getting more bang for your buck.
