A 30th Birthday Outfit.

This is what I wore on the day I turned 30. With a trip to Key West planned (blog post is in my drafts!) we opted to keep the actual day pretty chill. But I can honestly say, it was lovely, and I am SOLD on the concept of a birthday week. When you have fun travel plans ahead, it takes so much pressure off of your actual birthday. I slept in, went on a little birthday run, Art made me French Toast, then I took my time getting ready (my favorite!) we rode bikes to the park for a little charcuterie & wine picnic, played darts at a local dive, and ended the night singing "Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman" karaoke. With loads of sweet calls, texts, DMs, and FaceTimes sprinkled throughout! 

A swing dress in a great print MIGHT be one of my all time favorite things to wear. Not only is it a one piece outfit maker, it's so comfy for anything the day might throw at you! I really fell in love with this print first, and then realized it would make a pretty sweet birthday outfit. It's flirty & thriving, just like me!

This post has been sitting in my drafts for a week now and I'm not exactly sure why. I don't have much else to say! I loved wearing this outfit, I'm turned 30...I had a raucous birthday weekend in Key West, came home, and immediately got a bone & gum graft, and if that doesn't say I'm 30, I don't know what does. I've been [literally] on the mend for about the last week, getting better every day. With the crucial assistance of MANY milkshakes. 

I have really been on a LOFT kick lately, which isn't particularly cool, but then again, maybe it's age appropriate! This dress seems to be in & out of stock, with a few available now, so snatch it up if you can (I am wearing a 2 Petite for reference.) 

This set of photos with Adriane (you'll see the rest soon!) may be my favorite we've ever done. It was a magical evening that ended with margs & queso, reflecting on turning 30 (Adriane's advice: take care of your mind AND body) and generally catching up with a friend of quite a few years now! Thank you Adriane 💖
