I don't even remotely have an editorial calendar for this blog, but in my mind, this is like "Fall Preview Week" here at Priya the Blog.
And i KNOW that despite what the Pumpkin Spice Lattes, seasonal sales, and dates on the calendar are telling us, it's likely still in the 90's where you live. Girl me too. But that won't keep me from dreaming about the best time of the year! Dream with me!
Later this week I'll be sharing 5 Things I'm Excited to Wear This Fall, but today, here's a preview of two of them: smock dresses and sneakers!

Things I might be too old for:
- rollercoasters
- other people's drama
- stadium shows :O
- uncomfortable shoes!
This, coming from the girl that used to wear uncomfortable shoes almost exclusively (half sizes can be hard to find!) A couple weeks ago I ordered two pairs of sneakers: these platform Supergas and these high-tops, and I've been wearing nothing else. Wearing comfortable shoes, what a novelty!
These Supergas are especially perfect because they are the best of both worlds: a comfy sneaker, but with a platform that gives me the extra inches I'm always after. Paired with a smock dress (or maybe "babydoll" is the nicer way to say it) is a match MADE IN HEAVEN. This outfit formula on repeat, forever and ever, amen. Or at least for this Fall. With total creative credits to my boss' sister who was wearing a very similar outfit in her engagement photos (inspiration is everywhere!!)
One more time I really, really love these shoes and I want you to have them too. When I'm wearing them, I feel like I can do anything (run? Check. Strut? Check!) Let's stop wearing shoes that make us feel any other way!
Oh - and in regards this this smock dress specifically, I almost skipped over it because I thought it would make me feel/look like a middle schooler (I'm always trying to look older because people always assume I'm in high school) BUT then I said to hell with it and I love it so much. Who cares if I never want to wear it again after this season? It's called a trend, look it up. (Oh and ASOS has the best selection of smock/babydoll/whatever dresses everrrr.)
We took these photos at Pearl Diver which is a new tiki bar in town that I am obsessed with. And I really don't have anything else to tell you!
