Well, it's mostly just because it doesn't have anything going for it.
Monday you can grumble about it being Monday and talk about your weekend, Wednesday is hump-day and the week is halfway over again anyway, Thursday is little Friday and usually a great day, Friday needs nothing else than just being Friday and it's amazing, Saturday is the best day of the week, the possibilities are endless, and Sunday has the Sunday Scaries but is still generally a great day. Which leaves Tuesday feeling like an empty day!
To be honest, I have found myself in a longer than normal season of what I call "the blahs", and maybe this is a self-fulfilling prophecy now, but Tuesdays have been the worst. I've really been trying to do something on those days to make them extra special- wear something I love, make fun plans after work, start my day with a special coffee, spend extra time on my make-up, call someone I love, take a fun dance class etc. etc.
That's how this Jumpsuit Tuesday was born! We're rapidly nearing the end of jumpsuit season, and I'm starting to go through my Summer clothes with a fine-toothed comb before I make the switch and bring out my Winter clothes, but this chambray jumpsuit isn't going anywhere.
Also i KNOW it looks like I stuck my ankles in a garbage disposal...this is still the remnant of my chigger bites from camping this Summer (I KNOW.) I also hit my shin on the corner of a bed frame so hard I was seeing stars, that's what that other cute scar is from!
