A few weeks ago I got to shoot with Adriane again for the first time since...January? It was SO nice to put together and put on a few outfits that I love (non-elastic waist) and visit a few spots in my neighborhood. I drive by this mural all the time and have always had it on my "shot list." I love how it is both floral AND dark/moody. Perfect for a nice Fall outfit. I'll be sharing the other two outfits in the next few weeks!
This outfit is brought to you by the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The hallowed sale isn't always on my radar, but this year I picked out a few things. Long cardigans, or cardicoats were all over the sale this year. Nordstrom had me out here thinking I positively NEEDED one in my life (a new feeling!) I think what attracted me was how warm & cozy but not schleppy these sweaters are for indoors. So, this is definitely the most functional item I purchased. I also felt like this was an investment - this may now be the nicest sweater I own, as it's made of wool/cashmere. I'll be honest, most of the sweaters I own are polyester, but I see this one lasting forever. It's also on sale right now so scoop it up!
Second item - this green leather skirt! Which I had no real reason for buying, other than just really wanting it. I think I scrolled right past it at first, only to scroll back and think "how fabulous is this?" This skirt has been my favorite thing to wear since it arrived. You know, whenever I've had the opportunity. It is no longer available at Nordstrom, but I've rounded up a few similar options!
Otherwise, I can't believe how far back I had to scroll in my archives to find other outfits with these booties - considering they're my favorite shoes for like three years running? I love them so much that everytime I put them on, I nervously check the bottom to see how the condition is looking. I would happily buy a replacement to have waiting on hand.
Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow, however it looks for you! This year has held a lot of disappointment, but I also have much to be thankful for. Stay safe, stay well, and enjoy the day. <3
