la & nye

I'm back home after what seems like daysss running wild (I spent all day yesterday at Rachel's house). It's actually a very nice feeling. Now I'm in that final stretch before I go back to Nashville for my last semester of college (uhhh what?). I feel really blessed to have a family I actually enjoy hanging out with, and good friends that don't stop being awesome even when we go away to college.
I haven't made any resolutions, because it's going to be an interesting year. Time to be an adult, Priya! Here's to 2013!

And now some pictures from my latest adventures (all via iPhone. Please encourage me to use my Canon again next time you see me!)

our quick road trip to LA involved shameless selfies, belting out old Taylor Swift and debating new, rest stop outfit pics, double rainbows, the entire Les Mis soundtrack and McDonald's coffee. Don't you love it when your little brothers grow up and then they can drive the whole time :)

here's the double rainbow shot, if you look very closely.

our actual time in LA was brief, but I got done what I hoped for. Eating at Tuppy's new place of work, a hike at Griffith park, listening to my brothers playing music, and generally spending a little more time with them this break.

one afternoon Coren made me delicious eggs and bacon, Tup shared this sandwich with me later, and that night I made dinner for all of us. All three brothers were shocked that I am a competent chef. Come on guys!

The Americana in Glendale, with surviving Christmas lights.

New Years Eve I drove home, hopped in the shower, and then on the train to the city for the big night!

Fun Fact: I found this headpiece in San Francisco last year! Go ahead and hate but it's super legit, that is 100% authentic ostrich feather!Untitled
I just love being in San Francisco for New Years. We went up with barely a plan or idea of who we were meeting, but it turned out just fine. There's fireworks, a million people, and a specific energy...that continues onto the trains going home.Untitled
a friend told me that fireworks don't photograph well (agreed) and that I should just enjoy it, but at the same time, it's fun to know that this is exactly where I started off the year.

I truly hope everyone's 2013 is off to a great start!!
Thanks for reading.
