Onnea Aitien Paivana! (Happy Mother’s Day!)

I realize Mother’s Day has past, but this post is for my lovely, great, wonderful, mother and Grandmother. 

 Both caring, Finnish, hard-working, hilarious, loving, sarcastic, goofy, excellent cooks, organized, and spunky; and we all have the same nose!

I love you both! 

 This is the day we taught Mummo what “photobombing” is.

All of Finland salutes you on this day, as do I! (Mother’s Day is an official “flag-flying” day in Finland. I think that’s awesome and very appropriate).

Yes, this post also signifies that we made it back safely to California! Thanks for following my Finnish adventures. I’ve got a few more things I didn’t get to post earlier…
