featuring that skirt from middle school

Seriously though. When my mom bought me this skirt in 7th grade, I never would have guessed how it would become stylish again, and this time high-waisted.
earrings- H&M, top- F21, skirt- Old Navy, shoes- Urban Outfitters
My outfits, like my hairstyles, have to fulfill certain criteria. For this one I asked, "Can it take me from real estate intern to hostess?", "Will it still look good if I take pictures at the end of the night, inside?", "Will this skirt actively conceal a Chipotle burrito eaten 30 minutes beforehand?", and "Can I hike in this outfit, through a short-cut, carrying wood I stole from a construction site to make shelves in my new house?" The answer to all of these questions is yes. Therefore, I will wear this outfit.
I love these little earrings of course because I adore all things kitschy. My only rule with them is that I have to wear them with denim. Gingham and denim is one fashion combo I always abide by.
Oh and I am seriously wearing out these shoes because I love them so much. They are the perfect shoes for me. The straps are looking a little worn though, and I'm truly afraid they are gonna snap when I wear them!

Today is my last official day at my internship! After work I'll be leaving for Florida, and I'll try not to neglect my little blog, but we'll see how it goes. Also moved all my stuff in my house yesterday, and I already have a list a mile long of projects to tackle! So excited!
I'm thrilled by my new blogger friends who accepted their Liebster, and I can't wait to read all your award acceptance speeches! Yeah, I think I've made some pretty cool friends :)
Make it a great Thursday, and I'll be back with you soon!

Not fair, I wish I still fit into things from 7th grade! Actually scratch that. I had nowhere near as cute as style as this. I can't believe how well this skirt still holds up today. Also, gingham + denim= always a win. Congrats on finishing your internship and have fun in Florida! I won't forget about you if you don't forget about me!
