Nothing like a pandemic to catch up on some old outfit photos, huh? Unless you're interested in seeing my entire collection of sweats?
This outfit is from a trip to Florida last October that I maybe didn't even mention on the blog? We went to Amelia Island for some friend's wedding. It was such a fun weekend! Art & I stayed in a little beachside apartment with Art's best friend, Hank. We got to explore around the Amelia Island area (my first time there) throughout the long weekend and loved it - it's so charming and the beaches are beautiful. GAH I would do absolutely anything for a beach trip right now!! I've been watching Siesta Key on MTV as a form of escapism.
This is what I wore for the rehearsal dinner on Friday night. Everyone was invited to this house for very laid-back dinner hang (I love a rehearsal dinner like that!) I thought the backyard was absolutely beautiful, with all the quintessential tropical flora.
I've always loved a floor-length skirt - I think the silhouette is so dramatic and beautiful. I've worn a few, mostly from India, on the blog, but this gorgeous silky one was given to me by my friend, Jamie (who has given me so much great stuff!) I immediately wanted to style it with a crisp white button-up and gold jewelry, to really allow the colors in the skirt to pop. This styling is a bit more dressed-down and perfect for a coastal soiree. I'd also love to dress it up with a black crop top for a more formal event.
I'm inserting a separate widget for just long printed skirts, because I found so many gorgeous options! I believe mine is from ChicWish or somewhere like that...but to be honest it's packed away in my warm weather stuff right now. Will edit this post ;)

I've spent some time recently looking through old posts on the blog (it might be weird - but this always encourages me to keep blogging!) and speaking of hand-me-downs, this blog is literally built on them! It was actually really fun to look through some old posts. I can't believe I've blogged for so many years and even through different seasons of life at this point. It's a hobby that's stuck with me and I still enjoy, even after all these years. This quarantine, for all its' faults, has been a good reminder of that. I keep saying this to Art too but I'm really loving this new layout!
