How about a nice little distraction from today? A few weeks ago, Art, Piper, & I rented a cabin in Franklin, North Carolina for the week. We pretty much just hung out at the house, cooking, playing Trivial Pursuit, watching old scary movies, and sitting out on the amazing deck (beauty vlog from the deck here!) but we did sneak in a couple hikes and ventured into the very cute town square, where they had this fantastic Fall display. Of course, I couldn't resist taking a few pictures! This was like, made for bloggers!
But as far as fashion goes - this is pretty much all I'm wearing these days. I mentioned in my last "outfit post" that I've been having a really hard time getting dressed these days (I know I'm not alone!) I feel uninspired and also awkward in a lot of my clothing. So, I've been retreating into faithful stand-bys: neutrals, lot of black, lots of high-waisted leggings (these are from COSTCO like who am I anymore?!) and t-shirts. I think I tweeted about this but my basic tees needed a serious upgrade, so I went to Target and bought about ten. i LOVE these boxy long-sleeve crewneck t-shirts (also love the boxy tee, knotted tank, and fitted crop top) I own a couple of each of these and would recommend them to everyone! They are about all I wear these days.
I also really love my new combat boots from the Nordstrom Sale! These are perfect for any shorties out there that love combat boots but feel like regular ones cut them off a bit (me.) These are probably the most comfortable shoe with a heel that you could wear.
I got to shoot some outfit photos with Adriane over the weekend, and that also inspired me to spend some time playing in my closet. I'm excited to share those photos soon! It felt so good to do that again and it kinda inspired me to blog as well.
Lastly, whatever happens tonight (gulp) know that I won't stop fighting for all women, Black people, immigrants, and LGBT+ people and against racist, homophobic, misogynist, um, losers. This is the official Priya the Blog stance, by the way! If you disagree with me...I would love to talk to you about WHY. Email me!
