Happy! Valentine's! Day! Honestly, as a holiday, this is one I could do with or without. I've celebrated in ways all across the spectrum! I still think back fondly on my first Valentine's Day with an actual "Valentine" in high school, when after receiving candy, flowers, cards, the works, I was like, ohhh. This is what's supposed to happen on this day! Regardless of my relationship status on the day, I always enjoy the motif. What's not to love? It's also undoubtably the most fun holiday to dress for in a theme-y way. I look forward to putting together a Valentine-y outfit every year, and this year was no exception!A few weeks ago, Adriane & I spent a Saturday morning driving around to some new-er murals in Nashville. It felt so good for several reasons - being out & about around town, taking blog pics, and checking out some fun murals that have popped up in town.
This corduroy jumper (ok- it's listed as a pinafore but that completely sounds like I am four years old. What would you call this??) might be my favorite item from my Target haul last month. By the way if you missed it - I detailed this haul on YouTube, breaking down every purchase and styling every item. This styling ended up being a mash-up of a few ideas I was playing around with. I think this color will be so cute in the Spring as well. This exact jumper seems to be sold out online (check your local Target!) but this is very similar and here it is in black.
Here's a walk down memory lane with pit-stops at Valentine's outfits of years past on the blog. Some of them? Cringe-y! But that's personal style for you.

We spent our Valentine weekend glamping in the MOST BEAUTIFUL campers at a nearby farm. It was a little chilly, but a special weekend nonetheless! We loved our stay at Pomelo Grove and would absolutely go back (maybe when it's a bit warmer!) We made it back just in time to pick up Piper & Ginny and settle in before this epic ice storm. Cozy days inside ahead!
