This week's affirmation: I am being patient & gentle with myself. 

LOL, goes to therapy three times. But for real! You guys were on to something. I have only been to a few appointments now as my first foray into therapy, but, WOW, I wish I could have done this ten years ago! I am also so aware of the privilege I have to be able to go. Because, first of all, keeping it real, this is the first time in my life that I can comfortably afford it. Sure, there were times after I had been out of college and working for a while where I could have made it happen, but I would have really needed that money elsewhere. So now, this feels like the most luxurious thing possible to me! [Note: I'm not saying it's "luxurious" to do this for yourself. Just that it feels incredible and I am enjoying it so much. This version of Pri will never flag you for a luxury. I just took a bath at 4pm with two drinks, a candle, essential oils, two books...I am nailing that quarantine self-care bath.)

Anyway! I don't have many takeaways as my "therapy journey" is just beginning, but, do not worry, I'm sure I will share more here. All I can say is, if you've been on the fence about it, and you have the means, dooooo it. Everyone should do it. 

Ok if you're here for the fashion - if I've said it once, I've said it a million times - i LOVE a long dress! This was featured in my Target haul recently and was one of my favorite items that I picked up. I remember seeing this print back in the Fall and loving it. And I can't resist a long dress! So here we are. 

As for the teddy coat! For starters - I am the worst fashion blogger ever. I like to finally let trends into my life when they are borderline not even in style anymore? Like, are teddy coats still a thing? To be fair, I've always casually wanted one, but never could find the perfect one. Wait 'til I tell you where I bought this...wait for it....Abercrombie & Fitch!!! Yeah! No one is more surprised than me!

I had heard that A&F had changed it stripes from multiple sources over the last several years, so when I was in a mall recently, on like a Monday morning with nothing to do, as I was walking by I thought, maybe I'll just pop in? Imagine my delight when I found the teddy coat of my dreams, the only one there, in my size, on mega sale (I believe it was ~$60.) When these providential acts of fashion happen, you don't ask questions! 

If you've been considering taking another look at A&F, after all these years, I would support it. Yes, it was a weird high school fever dream being in there, but their whole deal has changed. I also got a simple black wrap dress for ~$20. Did they even carry clothing in BLACK in 2005? The times, they are a'changin. 

We've been having storybook Springtime weather in Nashville for the last week or so, and as LIFE-CHANGING (no exaggeration) as that has been, I am sorta hoping for one last cold snap so I can wear this coat again. 

By the way - this dress is still available and it's the one linked in the widget, just couldn't get the correct display image (thanks ShopStyle!) Target seemed to have a few items in this same print, including a skirt (also linked!) if you're more inclined to that! 

It started to HAIL for a second when we were taking these photos in front of a mural I have eyed from the freeway for years...but we had to get the pics! If you're here, I'm so grateful. The other night I couldn't sleep (normal) and I was thinking about everything, including the fact that I am very close to having blogged for TEN YEARS. I don't even know what to say about that. Sometimes it feels like I am screaming into the void (like my chihuahua-mix puppy, Ginny, when she yawns - goodness, I haven't even officially blogged about her yet! I'm sorry!) but, we're having fun, right? We're still having fun. That's why I'm here. Love y'all.
