[Btw the title of this post is from this song of the same name by Sky Ferreira. Probably my favorite of hers that I had forgotten about until recently!)

And I was proud of how I put it together! This was my first time buying any furniture and really decorating. I shared a glimpse into my living room and back deck previously, so consider this post the third and final look into my apartment (and foray into lifestyle blogging. Haha.) Also taking these photos, especially the one where I'm sitting on the bed, satisfied any dream I've ever had of a magazine profile, or maybe a book jacket photo-shoot!
Speaking of milestones - my absolute favorite piece of furniture, and the first one I can truly say I bought just because I really wanted it, is my vanity! I purchased it from West Elm about three years ago but it is still available now! It's technically a mini desk, but works perfectly for a little vanity set-up, especially if you need to squeeze it in somewhere. Just those two drawers + the desktop area have a surprising amount of storage, and certainly enough for, ahem, anyone with a normal amount of beauty stuff. But just wait until you see my new set-up eeeeeee!
I'll link a few more exact or similar picks from my bedroom below, including my bedding, which is by Marimekko, my forever favorite. Also here's a glimpse of my clothing rack that I have talked about forever and I promise that blog post is finally coming soon.
Quick outfit notes because it's pretty simple - these jeans are the same ones I have worn on the blog one million times, and still my favorites for going on three years! Urban Outfitters has consistently had a very similar version available. I picked up this turtleneck at Uniqlo when we were in Japan. It has been a while since I've worn a turtleneck sweater (I think this is technically a mock neck) but wow it makes me feel like a classic author! Meet the shoes that have slid into the "coolest shoes I own" spot - these snakeskin oxfords my sister gave me for my birthday!! She loves Freda Salvador and has several pairs that I've always admired. I haven't had a chance to wear these nearly enough!
It feels weird to post anything right now without referencing quarantine but...I don't have much to add! We are staying busy at home (and safely, outdoors, as much as possible) doing projects around the house like painting the entire master bedroom + bathroom, cleaning, organizing, and of course lots of reading, cooking, and watching TV. I'm still making to-do lists and outlining the weeks in my planner to keep from going crazy. One thing on my list is to keep updating this blog! I hope you all are staying safe & well and thanks for reading!
