My Favorite Outfits of 2017

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Year-end lists can feel tedious, but for me, it's really more of a self-study. I always enjoy putting this list together (and I always say the same thing, sorry) as my own little highlight reel for the year. It's such a great way to look back through the seasons, see my new favorite trends, my favorite items in my closet, and how my style shifted throughout the year.

Though I use the term "style blogger" very loosely, what I'm wearing is always important to me. Especially because I always find that the biggest events of the year are usually linked to the best outfits. I loved looking through this little style scrapbook from 2017!

All of these are left to right, and click the title for the full post & outfit details!

Mohair, Mo' Problems | This was a year of fuzzy sweaters, these girlfriend jeans, and Supergas from my trip to Italy! This was maybe the dreamiest photo locale of the year- thanks Miles!
Spring Flare | Another trend this year- bellbottoms! Specifically the Madewell Flea Market Flares. Stephanie took these gorgeous pictures during a weekend in Nashville.
Tornado Culottes | I'm looking back at this outfit and wondering why I haven't worn it since. This may be the most chic & professional look of the year!

Wears Like a Sailor | Helllooo Summer 2017. This was my very first shoot with Miles, and I loved how these pictures turned out. Oh, and the sailor jeans my sister gave me.
On Tropic Crop Top | A blog highlight of my year was getting to collab with Tobi, and pick out this super trendy botanical print crop top. Another really cool shoot with Miles.
Truly Madly Deeply | Hands down one of my favorite purchases of the year- my pink Dr. Martens! I put together the most 90's outfit I could muster and totally loved it.

All I Want For Christmas is Velvet | I've never not been a fan of velvet, but it was definitely THE fabric of the year. This outfit feels very 2017 to me, and goodness I love those purple velvet trousers.
Wimbledon Whites | I love everything about how this outfit and shoot came together- this polo is a rand-me-down that I'm remembering I need to wear again.
Perennially in Style | I saw this jacket at Zara in Chicago but didn't order it until I came back to Nashville and couldn't stop thinking about it. Also I have always wanted to shoot at this abandoned service station.

Varsity Girlfriend | Probably the coolest I looked this year- you already know these jeans are my absolute favorite, and I love how dressed up/dressed down this is!
Theme Dinner | Realizing I'm starting to look like a hippie with very long middle-parted hair and GIANT flared jeans. I'm into it. And this foliage!
Island Hipster Joanna Gaines | Ok this look/shoot is a super fun memory- I flew back to California after the best show of the year, Steph helped me do my make-up and took these pics! I love this weird outfit.

Woulda Got Away With It, Too | Maybeee my favorite altogether outfit post of the year? The look is totally me, Miles crushed it with these photos, AND my favorite t-shirt!
Rager Romper | Such a special memory- I wore this to my mom's 60th birthday party that I co-hosted. Stephanie was the photographer for the party but also ran outside with me and took these in 5 minutes.
26! | I bought this dress during my birthday weekend in Chicago and wore it/took these pictures on the actual day! Adriane & I drove out to this wall and it was rainy, but it worked out.

This list was especially fun (and difficult!) to make because of the amazing photographers I was able to work with this past year. HUGE shout-out to Stephanie, Adriane, and Miles- I literally could not do any of this without you making me look good! (Specific photo credits can be found on each post.)

If you have a year-end list of any kind, please share it with me below in the comments (or on Twitter!) I would love to check it out.

Oh- and if you have a vote for the very best of the best outfit of the year- let me know! :)
